ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Tate and I’m a junior game designer with a specialist focus on narrative and world design. I have over two years’ experience working in Unreal Engine, with strong technical skills in visual scripting, UI design & programming, 3D environment design and level & gameplay scripting. Through the projects I’ve worked on, I’ve designed and built a variety of game mechanics and systems, including skill trees, gameplay abilities, dialogue systems, player HUDs and UI menus, character customisation, and inventory systems.

I have always loved the creative process behind creating fictional worlds, characters and stories, and my dream has always been to write and design the stories for games. Since I was young, I've been fascinated by the medium of interactive storytelling, and I believe that games have a unique ability to bring fictional worlds to life in a way no other medium can. As a creative I cannot imagine doing anything else as exciting or rewarding.
